HISTORY<\/strong>

\nFauna Eladen died of complications shortly after giving birth to her daughter, leaving her husband, Darren, to raise the child. Leaving an infant Rowan with her grandmother, Darren\u00a0traveled for days at a time, working on-board merchant ships to support the family.<\/p>\n

When Rowan was nearly five, her grandmother passed. She was left in the care of the entire village while her father was away, and would occasionally run errands for the villagers or help with simple tasks.<\/p>\n

On her seventh birthday, Rowan’s father surprised her with her first trip away from\u00a0the small village, taking her to the city of Britain. It was during a tour of the Conservatory of Music that she first hear the sound of a harp, and instantly fell in love with the instrument.<\/p>\n

The next several years passed with Rowan teaching herself to play the harp\u00a0and performing for her father upon his return from sea, until the day he never returned. The wreckage of the ship was found, but the fate of her father, though he was deemed deceased, isn’t truly known.<\/p>\n
