The campfire was lit, and all around us mortals sat to listen to Lord Nathael tell the tale of “Tobias and Razzle”.\u00a0 He stood in the center and\u00a0as he flipped open\u00a0the book,\u00a0he began…<\/p>\n

All in attendance, which included a few known pale skins, silenced as Nathael spoke.\u00a0 I turned to see that the great Rameses was in attendance and he nodded to acknowledge me. A beauty stood at his side, Lauranna was her name, also a pale skin.\u00a0 Rameses introduced her as his beloved.\u00a0 As I looked around the room I saw the familiar faces of many mortal whom had come to the defense of Red Skull Bay.\u00a0 I had taken some blows for some of these mortals, interesting enough.\u00a0 One name I had been searching for was Va’lis, but I did not see him in attendance.\u00a0 Someone mentioned that he had presented himself but had an urgent calling that took his attention elsewhere.\u00a0\u00a0But those in my coven started to show…\u00a0 Damien and Pierceton… and soon there were just as many vampires as there were mortals.\u00a0 A pretty odd occurrence for the mortals.<\/p>\n

\"Story<\/a>
Story Telling Gets Ugly Part I<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As Nathael continued with his story telling,\u00a0 we started to see some visible changes in the book itself.\u00a0 It appeared to glow faintly, so faint in fact that mortals could not have detected it. All of the sudden we were faced with evil, yet again.\u00a0 Rameses turned his gaze to me as if to say that mortals sure seem to attract a lot of it.\u00a0 Evil painted men with masks of giant rats and smells of foulness surrounded the camp.\u00a0 I immediately started to weild my powers against them. Mighty as they are,\u00a0 the assistance of the other vampires sure came in handy.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Mortals did their best, but many had to back off to attend to their wounds.\u00a0 I knew that once again I would have to take on the heavier blows if these mortals were to live.\u00a0 Soon the beasts tamers came, and the assistance of these great animals was certainly a turn in the battle for our side. With their massive claws and jaws, they were able to thwart many of the insurgents.\u00a0 Alas, their evil ways were no match for the conjoined efforts of mortals and undead.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lords Nathael and Kasaven\u00a0were assisted down from a tree, as they sought refuge from the wounds that would surely kill them, for they had not brought any defensive armor with them.\u00a0 Surely, at a campfire\u00a0meant for telling old tales their sword and armor would not be needed.\u00a0 They were dressed is no more than fancy noble robes.<\/p>\n

Goes to show that no part of Sosaria is safe and the need for collaborative efforts from all beings will become mandatory for the survival of all its citizens.<\/p>\n
