We typically have certain officers act as raid managers, which they do not have to be in the teams to do, while raid leaders and raid assistants obviously have to be in the raid teams.  Their responsibilities are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"15%\"><strong>Raid Managers:<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Raid managers deal with the logistics of the raid such as recruitment, attendance, logs, stats, scheduling, and goal setting.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Raid Leaders:<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Raid leaders theory craft raid plans, develop personalized strategies, handle all loot distribution, and guide players through encounters to boss kills.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Raid Assistants:<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Raid assistants help their raid leaders with invites, group sorting, and technical jobs required within the encounters.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All raid teams should operate with a set of common tenets as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex style=\"font-size:40px\"><strong>Commit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"line-height:1.5\"><strong>You commit to the days and times of your raid team.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-normal-font-size\">\n<li>You committed to the raid days and times for your team as a primary roster member and plan ahead accordingly. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your attendance is <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>EXPECTED<\/em><\/span><\/strong> and 19 other people are waiting for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You get invited to the raid group anytime before raid start time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You list your vacation or any other needed time off on our Master Spreadsheet and let leaders know about them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have Discord mobile and use it to communicate any issues. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-text-color has-background has-link-color style=\"font-size:40px\"><strong>Prepare<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"line-height:1.5\"><strong>You prepare for all raids as best as you can.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-normal-font-size\">\n<li>You watch and\/or read boss strategies provided to you by raid leaders ahead of time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You bring all needed gear for any specs you use in raid, all fully repaired.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You bring the necessary consumables with you for the entire raid, even if some are provided to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You review your logs and other tools to help you get better for the next raid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You continuously work on your specs and rotations to improve your DPS\/HPS output.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-886d5e2b6caaed7e2b05a1e06048e7a6 is-layout-flow class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:40px\"><strong>Communicate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You communicate with respect and consideration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-normal-font-size\">\n<li>You let leaders know <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">at least 1 hour<\/span><\/em><\/strong> before raid time if you&#8217;re going to be late or absent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can communicate in voice chat as needed in a respectful way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You know to keep yourself muted when appropriate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>ask<\/em><\/span><\/strong> (you do not tell) your raid leaders to suggest tweaks and pivots to a raid encounter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You review any questions or concerns with your Raid Leaders or Raid Assistants <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>after or before<\/em><\/span><\/strong> the raid privately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Raid Chats for Communication<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To communicate any lateness, absence, or emergencies, please use the appropriate raid chat and make sure to TAG the LEADERS <span style=\"color: #982dc2;\"><strong>(@Leaders)<\/strong><\/span> in those chats so that all raid leads, officers, senior officers, co-GMs, and GM are equally notified with enough time to allow us to try to fill that spot ahead of time. They can just set themselves as absent if they are not going to be online in the wowaudit raid signups respective to their raids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Be Repaired &amp; Prepared<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REQUIRED OF ALL MEMBERS SHOWING UP FOR RAIDS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review all information provided to you by your raid leaders in the <strong>Notices &amp; Polls<\/strong> chats in Discord.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Right AddOns for the game, specially those that communicate to the Raid\/Event Leader.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Deadly Boss Mods<\/strong> or <strong>BigWigs<\/strong> is a must if you cannot conquer certain mechanics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Heal based addons<\/strong> are a must <strong>ONLY<\/strong> if your healing is falling behind the curve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Method Raid Tools and Northern Sky Raid Tools<\/strong> is a must for all raiders, they provide raid leaders with valuable tools to run their raids.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RCLootCouncil <\/strong>+ <strong>wowaudit <\/strong>plugin to RCLC is required for any Mythic raiding teams. Heroic and Normal will be open rolls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completely repaired (all armor and weapons).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completely gemmed and enchanted where possible with the highest ranks available, but at minimum the lowest ranks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completely prepared with all the potions, food, consumables, usable items that are needed to be effective.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The &#8220;3 Strikes&#8221; Rule<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the Mythic team especially, but this also can apply to all raid teams, maintaining a certain level of attendance is an absolute necessity. As such, we have developed a &#8220;3 Strikes&#8221; rule by which we measure attendance and general conduct. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you fail to keep to the code listed above, your raid leader may issue a strike against you.  That is documented in our Master Spreadsheet in the Members List tab (scrolling to the right) and is visible to all members. After some time, that strike can fall off at the Raid Leader&#8217;s discretion.  The consequences are as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"one\" class=\"wp-block-details padding-all has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\" style=\"background-color:#ddffee;font-size:24px\"><summary>STRIKE ONE<br><\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">A discussion with a raid manager, raid leader, or raid assistant about the incident and the first strike is recorded.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"two\" class=\"wp-block-details padding-all has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\" style=\"background-color:#fffdde;font-size:24px\"><summary>STRIKE TWO<br><\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">If the first strike hasn&#8217;t fallen off, you get benched from the team for one week period.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"three\" class=\"wp-block-details padding-all has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\" style=\"background-color:#ffdede;font-size:24px\"><summary>STRIKE THREE<br><\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">If the first or second strike hasn&#8217;t fallen off, you get removed from the raid team.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Below is how our guild manages all of our raid teams, for all tiers.
