We Return for The War Within
So, we have been playing WoW again. Because it’s WoW and we’re all in our feelings about it. I mean most of TLP is made up of former WoW players, most of them from old versions of TLP-WoW, which was made up of a bunch of former UO and DAoC TLP’ers too. For me, though… my late husband Luke (aka Beelzebubba) and I started this guild together and after he was killed in a auto accident, this guild was HOME to me — a piece of him I could always have with me. It just runs that deep for me.
But what hasn’t run that deep is the lack of enjoyment every expansion since the release of Battle for Azeroth has brought our TLP’ers. With every new adventure, the luster of WoW got dimmer and dimmer. Most of us skipped Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria, but made a big return with Legion — which was rather good to be fair, and saw them usher in BFA. But by the end of BFA, not even the promise of Shadowlands — which featured one of my most beloved characters, Sylvannas Windrunner, go absolutely bat shit CRAZY was enough for all of us to stay. So, another break ensued.
My now husband, Jake (Cips), and I — who I met within TLP-WoW btw — played Dragonflight together, all but the raiding and Mythic content. And while I am more of a “story nerd” than he is (by far actually lol) we did both enjoy it, for a while. We quit after Season 1. The story of the dragonflights was compelling but the content was again lack luster. And with that we said we wouldn’t put any effort into rebuilding TLP with Dragonflight.
Then came the announcement of the Worldsoul Saga — and with it the return of Chris Metzen, who we absolutely love. This was something Jake and I definitely wanted to play. But we knew we couldn’t mount on a remake of TLP if we didn’t enjoy the content ourselves. So……. we decided to play Season 1 without much thought to pulling TLP back together just to see if this is worth that effort. Because its a big effort. And today I can say, its worth the effort.
We’re going to be adding to TLP-WoW new members, therefore adding new friends to the big conglomerate that is TLP the community of gamers. And we’re going to take all of Season 1 to do it. By Season 2’s release, my goal will be to have established Mythic teams, PvP Squads, and at minimum 1 moderate raiding team. Yeah, no longer we will be pushing for server firsts or anything like that, but we will be happy to be among the top 10 guilds on just Bleeding Hollow. Hell… I even considered returning back to our home of Mannoroth, but most of us here are in some way or another and even more of us are scattered around in other places, so that made no sense. And thus Bleeding Hollow it is.
I don’t expect all of those settled folks to return, but I do think some of you might love to just hang out with us. And having said that, I know I’ll see some of you drop into our TLP-WoW Discord server and chat it up with us, like we have done for the better part of over 27 years, dating back to Ultima Online.

From the Inside: A TLP’ers Perspective on New World by Amazon
Amazon Game Studio is finally on the cusp of releasing its first PC MMO game. New World is a game that has the potential to be a hit title out of the gate. The game brandishes several features that are sought after by a lot of MMO players. Please keep in mind that I based this information on the last Alpha testing and interviews conducted by the developers. Some or most of this information may change before the May release.
TLP Founder Creates New Non-Profit Organization for Cystic Fibrosis
As many of you know, our founder Danitsia was born with Cystic Fibrosis. At the age of 5 her family was hit with a disastrous event in where she lost both her brothers, Junior was 21 and Rey was 12 at the time, to a fatal car accident in Venezuela. The death of her brother Rey had always been a looming day in the life of her family because Rey, like Dani, was born with Cystic Fibrosis though he was misdiagnosed most of his life and did not achieve the diagnosis until age 7. By then the damage to his lungs had been significant and other organs had been affected. Once the tissue in your lungs has been scarred and damaged beyond function, it cannot be reversed. Rey was on the verge of multiple organ failure and was put on a double lung transplant list, a liver transplant list, and a kidney transplant list. The odds of Rey surviving past the age of 18 were slim to none.
Disaster Relief Fund for Victims of Hurricanes Harvey & Irma
As an online community of nearly 2000 members, we feel a certain sting when one of our own is affected by disasters of this nature because we treat the people in our community, all over the world, like family. Our motto, “One Family, Many Worlds” is not just a catchy slogan, it’s something we all truly believe in.
As such we will continuously try to support another great organization like the American Red Cross to assist wherever we can to help the countless victims of natural disasters like Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma across the globe. We urge all of our members to give and give regularly as we work together, as human beings, to help each other through the storm of life.

TLP CELEBRATES 2 YEARS IN FFXIV!!!
It makes me a proud to be the Guild Master of TLP-FFXIV as I announce that we have crossed another milestone in the history of our chapter. On the 25th of this month of April, our Free Company shall complete its second year of establishment. I take this occasion to thank members and friends for being a part of this journey.
What began as a small dream of two people has risen up to stand tall amongst the Free Companies on Faerie, a great establishment of The Last Prophecy. Our chapter has countless achievements and accomplishments, especially from this last year in which we achieved milestones in both leadership and membership.
Without the support of our excellent leaders, it would never have been possible. Every one of our leaders plays a very important role in the development of our Free Company. It is for your enthusiasm, support and dedication that have brought us to where we are today. TLP-FFXIV shall ever remain indebted to the contributions of those that lead the way forward.
We are also grateful to all of our members who trusted in us to provide for their in-game goals and a friendly community. Their demands, challenges and feedbacks have pushed us to go ahead and improve vigorously. Our success story remains incomplete without the support of its members. Not only have they made us a part of their lives but also helped us reach out and make and meet new friends from around the world.
On this auspicious occasion I gladly announce we have hit membership cap and tightened participation requirements in the guild; are about to offer an open raid skill based system for our members and Faerie server members to participate; and of course the start of our month long celebration with tons of events and prizes!
We plan to keep our Free Company and relationship with Faerie and the TLP Organization growing and continue to provide our members nothing less than the best. With your support, we wish to explore new heights in Stormblood and beyond!
