Goals for Season 3: Patch 11.2

And we’re still here…

So last season’s goals were mostly met, with the exception of CE and PvP Teams. Mind you they were pretty lofty goals, given that the first boss we had to defeat is the Roster Boss. What we realized was that today’s raiders aren’t as dedicated as the gamers of Legion, so we had to pivot. People want to raid Mythic, but not necessarily want to clear CE. What we had last season was a Heroic raiding team that could dabble in Mythic Bosses and now we need dedicated gamers to really push forward. And that’s going to take quite a few seasons. But that’s okay! We learned a lot and we’re focused on pushing forward in Season 3.

Achievement Unlocked: Glory of the Liberation of Undermine Raider

It’s that time of the season- achievement raid time. On Sunday June 29th, we got together to complete the meta achievement: Glory of the Undermine Raider. Ghad lead us to victory, in fact we one-shoted each of the achievements! Some of them were easier than others but we managed to complete them all in fashion, securing the Junkmaestro’s Magnetomech mount.

Included achievements:

The most challenging of these was arguably the Garbage In, Garbage Out achievement, which required us to clean up or burn all trash before the next fight phase. We managed, though it was a bit messy (appropriate for Stix, renowned lover of trash). The easiest was probably Just/Dance, where one person needed to /dance with the disco ball in the arena during one of the phases.

This was our 2nd achievement raid for the War Within expansion and we look forward to “completing the set” next season all together.

With Great Pride, We Celebrate #LoveIsLove

On Friday June 27th The Last Prophecy celebrated LGBTQIA+ Pride with an in-game parade. The parade was a fun way to spend time together and a chance to raise awareness & funds for a great cause- the NOH8 Campaign. See Dani’s post about the work that NOH8 makes possible.

We started in Dornogal with a quick warm-up cuddle puddle. Excitement was high with lots of toys, mounts and outfits to enjoy.

The parade procession began in full “Role Play” walking speed, around the city then off the plank down, down (hopefully to a soft landing), the coreway to the Ringing Deeps.

We made our first stop in the Ringing Deeps for a photo op.

After a democratic decision to switch to running speed, the group forged ahead to Tenir’s Ascent, the on to Mereldar, Hallowfall where we caught an airship ride up to the Priory of the Sacred Flame.

We took another airship for a scenic flight around the zone while we answered some trivial questions Danitsia prepared for us about the history of the gay liberation and rights movement. It was educational and fun seeing who knew which facts and tidbits.

The time had come to make our way to our final destination: The Weaver’s Lair, Azj-Kahet.

At the Lair, we showed off our transmogified pride outfits one by one. It was a blast seeing everyone display their personal style and creativity in how they put their looks together.

The battle was heated and spirited! Dani had the unenviable privilege of selecting the winners between many great submissions.

In the end, the victors were Saelyria, Crittykat and Bonsai (Night Elf supremacy!).

Bonsai’s winning “flaming pride” outfit complete with pet Fruitbasket & Unicorn mount!

All in all it was a lovely evening showing off our LGBTQIA+ with our guildie friends. See you all next year!

We Celebrate Our LGBTQIA+ Friends & Family

We love the diversity of the world here at TLP as an organization and as chapters within the games we play. On Friday June 27th, we will show our support during our annual PRIDE PARADE through the heart of The War Within main zones, starting in Dornogal proper at 8 PM Pacific (9 PM Mountain, 10 PM Central, 11 PM Eastern).

With our best, most colorful outfits and GROUND mounts, we will make our way on foot (with the exception of of the drop from Dornogal into Ringing Deeps) through to the main city in Ringing Deeps, Gundargaz. From there we take the train tracks over into Hallowfall — where we will visit the great city of Mereldar before taking flight to the Priory of the Sacred Flame to clear out all the heretics & hoping on to the Dawnbreaker for a quick 15 minute trivia. From Hallowfall, we head on to the depths of Azj-Kahet, home of the Nerubians — where we will either stop at the Weaver’s Lair city or if we have a much bigger audience head towards the great arena in the City of Threads (near Zekvir’s old lair) for group photos!

There, we will hold a BEST TRANSMOG/MOUNT CONTEST where our judges will decide who wins the top prize (1), runner up (2), and second runner up (3). We are looking for originality, creativity, a blend of the rainbow’s best colors, matching weapons/shields, andddddddd a matching MOUNT to go with it! First prize will be 600,000 gold in game, second prize will be 300,000 gold in game, and third prize will be 100,000 gold in game.

This year we have partnered up with the NOH8 CAMPAIGN to raise a bit of money to help those in this community find peace, equality, and acceptance. If you can donate anything you can spare, you can do so through Tiltify (directly goes to NOH8) by clicking below.

ABOUT NOH8 CAMPAIGN

MISSION STATEMENT: The NOH8 Campaign is a charitable organization whose mission is to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest.

On November 4, 2008 Proposition 8 passed in California, amending the state Constitution to ban same-sex marriage. The defeat provoked a groundswell of initiative within the GLBT community at a grassroots level, with many new political and protest organizations being formed in response.

The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with “NOH8” painted on one cheek in protest.

Nine years since its inception, the NOH8 Campaign has grown to over 56,000 faces and continues to grow at an exponential rate. The campaign began with portraits of everyday Californians from all walks of life and soon rose to include politicians, military personnel, newlyweds, law enforcement, artists, celebrities, and many more from across the globe.

While inspired by the passage of Prop 8 and the fight for marriage equality, the scope of the NOH8 Campaign has grown to stand against discrimination and bullying of all kinds. The message of ‘No Hate’ can be interpreted and applied broadly, and everyone can relate to the message of NOH8 in their own way.

The NOH8 Campaign has received overwhelming support from around the world, and has appeared in various local and national news programs and publications. The images are widely used on various social networking sites such as FacebookTwitter and Instagram to proudly show support for equal rights.

To date, NOH8 Campaign has hosted official photo shoots in 48 of the 50 United States (plus D.C.) and 20 countries around the world. While our work continues here in the US, we must not forget that there are still places around the world where simply being who you are means living in fear for your life every single day. Our mission to promote love, acceptance and respect for all human beings will continue in pursuit of #NOH8Worldwide.

Ahead of the Curve Achievement for Prophets Heroic Team

On Friday May 30th Chrome King Galliwix fell to Prophets heroic team, giving us full heroic raid tier clear for that team and achieving one of our major goals for season 2 of the War Within – Ahead of the Curve for all raiders who seek it.

Gally put up a good challenge, surviving most of our raid night before going down on the 11th and final pull of the evening. The first phase of the fight was particularly challenging to get the dance down, then strong damage on the adds was another tough spot to get through consistently. This fight was a great opportunity for this team to practice movement and coordinated defensives skills.

With one of our major season goals accomplished, we set our eyes on the big prize: Cutting Edge for our mythic team.

Rik Reverb Defeated: Mythic 3/8

Mr. Richard Reverberations put up quite the challenge for our mythic tier raiding team, the Olympians. We spent 106 pulls over 4 weeks of progression working on mechanics (down the adds!) and fighting the epic roster boss. The team is now sitting at 3/8 for mythic tier 13 weeks into season 2 of The War Within expansion.

It all came together for us with a little help from our friends on Thursday, May 29 and this boss dropped like his sick beats. Loot highlights included a best-in-slot necklace for quite a few, Semi-Charmed Amulet.

Shout out to close friend of the guild, Ellipi, and his crew for helping us get over the prog hump and for showing us a new approach to our raid style. Coffdropp, Raid Leader for the Olympians, and the rest of the leadership team is working hard to experiment with processes and procedures to find the best way to meet the demands of raiding, especially for the mythic tier. We are enjoying continuing to evolve as a guild & as individual players and accomplishing hard things together as a team.

We can’t wait to get going on Sprocketmonger Lockenstock!

Team Roster:

Mythic cauldron of carnage boss downed

Mythic Cauldron of Carnage Down

Terrible two-some Flarendo & Torq of Cauldron of Carnage mythic raid tier have been defeated by the Olympians team. This boss took 58 pulls over 4 weeks of progression. The team has done a good job of getting heroic tier raid and myth tier Vexie on farm status over that time, combined with gear from vaults and keys for an average item level of 669.2.

One of the more challenging aspects of this boss was dealing with the add crowd control on Torq as well as laser placement on Flarendo. As is typical for mythic raid tier, the meta challenge of keeping the 20-person team balanced and staffed is sometimes greater than the bosses and mechanics themselves. The Last Prophecy continues to recruit to flesh out a bench as needed. Guild members Galatea and Tizdee have recently been promoted to officer rank to take on these recruiting responsibilities.

With Cauldron of Carnage down, the team sets eyes on mythic Rik Reverb as well as a fun achievement run in normal.

Heroic Gallywix has Fallen to Olympians

Overweight crime boss and notorious bare-chested fashionista, Chrome King Gallywix, has fallen to The Last Prophecy’s Mythic raid team, Olympians. With this kill, Olympians have secured the achievement of Ahead of the Curve for the guild.

The team was comprised of 2 tanks, 5 healers and 13 damage dealer players. Gallywix fell 9 weeks after the launch of the Liberation of Undermine raid on April 24th, 2025, after 59 pulls. The gods blessed us this day with a fine Jastor Diamond in addition to this glorious victory.

The team is looking forward to continuing to progress on to mythic tier with this accomplishment secured. After all, time is money friends!

Team Roster:

Four Weeks In, Our First Mythic Kill

TWW Season 2 kicked off on March 4th and exactly 1 month in TLP’s Olympians kill Mythic Vexie & Geargrinders. And now the real work starts. The key is the consistency of downing these bosses and getting them on “farm status”. Farm status for us is killing a boss under 3 attempts, hoping for 1-shot kills more than likely.

We will tackle Cauldron of Carnage and hope to have the dueling duo down by the end of the month, moving on to Rik Reverb, which has challenged many other midcore guilds. Even those that we consider to be mid-to-hardcore have seen Rik break the guilds apart, so we’re hoping to continue to improve on Vexie & Cauldron to farm up the gear they drop. But it seems like raid gear isn’t the requirement anymore to kill bosses in a raid environment. It definitely does require us to farm Myth gear from Mythic+ Dungeons to really be able to compete with the needed DPS, mechanics, and throughput that is needed for Rik Reverb and beyond.

We will need our team to start really committing to grinding those M+ dungeons at 10 or above, which forms a real challenge for a soft-to-midcore guild that has adults with families and limited time. So we need to organize much more astutely to meet that challenge head on. The path to “Cutting Edge” is not easy at all for a guild like ours, but we are committing to trying to achieve it every season of The War Within, Midnight, and The Last Titan — the Worldsoul Saga.

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”

~ Winston Churchill

TLP Clears Liberation of Undermine on Normal, Eyes Heroic Clear Next

First week… our Mythic team has fully cleared normal! Yay for us. 🙂

We set out to try to fully clear normal Liberation of Undermine within the first three weeks and it turns out the Mythic team we put together was able to not only clear normal, but downed 2 heroic bosses too! We even did a pick up day last Sunday to give Heroic a whirl, adding folks from our Heroic team if others couldn’t make it, and we did really well. At some point, however we decided to pair our team down, sitting out most of the heroic folks to be able to kill Cauldron of Carnage with a smaller team.

Now, we eye the rest of heroic for our Olympians and continue to progress with our Prophets through normal; we did manage to get 6/8 for the heroic team though. Overall, we’re really happy with the latest progress of both our teams.
