TLP’s Entry to the March 22nd Event

Event: One for all, and all for one.

Event Period: 3. March – 22. March (end of day UTC)

Event Description:
• Gather your guild members and take an amazing/fun/exciting/nonsense screenshot to promote your team
• Screenshot must have at least 10 members of the same guild present
• Guild Name must be clearly visible for at least 10 members
• Post your server and your guild’s name along with the screenshot as follows

[ServerName;GuildName] à [Jordine;RocknRoll]
• Circumventing or ignoring any of the above rules may result in a disqualification
Event Winner & Rewards:
• All: 10 000 Guild Skill Experience (This is a one time experience boost for the guild itself and not the members)
Reward Distribution:
• By 24. March

We managed to secure the final spot in this event before they closed the event. All we can do is wait because due to the current photo one of our members was invisible and they may not count us because of this. But looking forward we are eager to participate in any future community events.

TLP Seeks Strong LoL Analyst to Join #TeamTLP

Black Desert Online Launches, TLP Settles on Orwen

Join us on Black Desert Online as we conquer the hordes and have a ton of laughs along the way.  We will be setting up home on the Orwen Server with two chapters; one for our more casual folks and one for our hardcore folks.  We’re just getting set up here with our new site and will be having forums and such for both chapters.  News feed will display news for both chapters with a delineation of Team 1 and Team 2, 1 being the casual to moderate chapter.

Announcing the Heavensward Music Competition!

To celebrate the release of the sound team’s newest masterpiece, Heavensward: FINAL FANTASY XIV Original Soundtrack, we’re holding a special contest focused on the music of Heavensward. Soak up the tranquil sounds of the evening theme for Foundation—“Night in the Brume”—and perform your own rendition of the song! Will you keep it classy with a soothing piano or a violin? Completely jazz it up? Or perhaps straight-up rock out? That’s all up to you!

Put your heart and soul into the music and bring back the feelings you felt when taking your first steps into Ishgard. The final judging will be performed by Sound Director Masayoshi Soken! Prizes include a decorative plaque signed by Masayoshi Soken, as well as in-game item packages! We’re looking forward to hearing all the entries!

Apprentices are members of the guild that specialize in heading up specific tasks to help the guild progress. Examples include helping with our garden, sending out airships on retainer-like adventures, or decorating the house with seasonal charms!

Apprenticeship is easy, no stress, very low time commitment, but infinitely helps our leadership by freeing up their time to lead the guild by just that little bit more, while allowing you to do the things you already enjoy doing! With Heavy Hearts…. sad News for Our Family

gotik-collageIt pains me to make this post…it’s not a post I would ever want to make. But it must be made. This will pertain mostly to the Archeage crowd, but some of you in other games may have known Gotik or PrincessGotik (who’s real name is Julio), too.

Maria and I discovered today that Julio passed away yesterday unexpectedly. For those of you who played Archeage, Julio went by Princessgotik/Gotikguilda in-game. He was an officer, incredibly friendly and supportive, and had been playing with us for quite a long time.

Julio was much more than just someone who played Archeage for many of us…just as most of you who are associated with TLP are much more than just people we play with. He was a father, a husband, and someone who had emigrated to the United States all the way from Venezuela to seek a better life.

In-game, he was never much for PvP. Despite that, he learned to hold his own and was one of the most dedicated players I’ve seen when it came to trade runs and making money. It wasn’t all that unusual to see him still on at 8 am in the morning.

When I logged into Archeage earlier today, I found him AFKing, just as he always did, sitting on a bench in the Marianople hall. I suspect no one has realized just yet that he’s still logged in.

Julio leaves behind a 16-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old daughter who also plays in game. Gentle reminder to people who play that if you are approached or messaged by Sofisticated, I would appreciate it if you treat her patiently and kindly. She is friendly and has often reached out to me or others in-game…and having just lost her dad, she may do so again because of the connection we had. If she does and you are uncomfortable in any way, let me know and I’ll be happy to talk to her. Please don’t approach her on your own with questions about Julio.

When we get more information about what happened, I’ll update you guys and try to give you more detail. Right now, all we know is that he passed away unexpectedly.
