Beta Burnout is Real

A lot of our core players have decided to take a break because we know that this beta is getting extended; probably will not see a release until the first quarter of 2017.  Due to that fact a lot of our core is taking a break from the beta.  This has traditionally been a real stickler for us.  When we play a beta, we expect to be able at some very near future see the release of the game. In both instances, we’ve been bitten and now are twice shy.   Speculation has us delaying this beta for quite some time based on the post here by the CEO of Sandbox Interactive, known as Korn.

First of all, I’d like to point out that we have always been very clear about our philosophy with regards to Albion Online: the main goal is for the game to be successful in the long term. The game will be released when we believe that it’s able to achieve that goal. Every time we gave an indication for a release date, we always made that clear.

Built to Fight: TLP Forms Alliance, Rest in Pieces

Much like we did in the first beta, we continue to foster friendships and collaboration by focusing our members to fight against the horde that is [REIGN] who continues to stomp out any that cross their path. Some of the smaller guilds are going to have to make some very tough choices — either they learn to work together or start thinking about merging into bigger guilds.  Albion seems to be no place for the small, tight knit groups of the past because we’re being forced out of existence.  It’s time to organize and centralize to put forth an effort to not be engulfed by, or eaten alive in some instances, the zerg.

We have always created alliances in every game we have played, Albion is no different.  In our first beta, we had the name Rest in Pieces (long before there was ever a guild with the same name) for our alliance.  It was one of the first things we did.  Now, we dust off the name and put it back to good use as we form the [RIP] alliance of Redwater.  We’ve aligned ourselves with some great guilds that have for the better part moved into Redwater Bend and plan to make this place their home — at least for the duration of this final beta.

With events, GvG practices, dungeon crawls, and more organized and led by competent leaders, we think we have a good shot at holding our own.

Full Clear Wednesday!

We’d like to congratulate our Team Olympian raiders for a great job in clearing ALL of Heroic HFC in 2.75 hours — from start to finish.  They earned themselves a day off on Thursday night and it was also our last night of raiding in WoD. Onward and upwards to Legion Raiding!  We will NOT be raiding until September 30th as we’re giving our members a month to level and be Raid Ready!  Here is a picture of all of us. 😉  Go #TeamTLP!

Summer Break!

The summer is here and we’re all taking much needed time with our families, friends, and out of town visitors!  It’s a special time where folks are happiest sitting on a beach working on their tan or swinging slightly on a hammock reading a book.    As such it’s been hard to coordinate a Talk Show schedule that suits that streamers on our team that normally have an interest in participating in it.  So we’ve decided to take a break for the month of July and August and then come back strong with a NEW SEASON of The Titans Talk Show sometime in mid-September for  #TwitchConHype #TeamTLP #TLPCompound #SanDiego #GotCarriedAway #WithAllTheHashtags

Four Bosses Down in HFC, First Night In

Congratulations TLP! You guys rock. 🙂

On our first night in, for some the first time raiding content in WoW ever and for others the first time in 8 years (me included!), we managed to one-shot two bosses, two-shot the last two.  In order we downed Hellfire Assault, Iron Reaver, Kormrok, and the Hellfire Council.  The sixth boss is rather complex but I think we’ll make progress with it tonight. We did spent a good hour on it last night so I think we’ll get through it tonight.

I think after a second go (next week) in Normal, we can bump it up to Heroic depending on how much gear we farm up out of these instances.  I do know a lot of us are busier in real life than some and are not able to get into the LFRs as much or get into PvP to grind out some PvP gear to put us in the DPS checks for Heroic.  We’ll need folks closer to 700 to try Heroic, but what we could do is farm the first few bosses in Heroic, while still trying to learn the fights from Normal.  We’ll explore that possibility!

I want to specially thank Mortalsins, Danmachi, and Odie for helping to explain the fights for most of these as I was really too green to do the job all alone (Gawd I hate Raid Leading!). Everyone really did so well and I was so happy to have us go in there and synergize the way we did.  Everyone got along great and nothing major stood in our way.  What an amazing night for us as a guild! 🙂

I’ll be getting more screenshots of our guild in action tonight, and see if there are any more screenshots to add but these two are my personal best shots.  Enjoy!

TLP Stands With Orlando

It is with the saddest hearts that we look upon the day today.  The events of Orlando, FL in the last few days have shocked our nation and the world.  We wanted to offer a few simple words of acknowledgement and support for the family and friends of those that tragically and violently lost their lives in the wee hours of the morning.  Unfortunately, this is not the first time we face terrorism in our country and it certainly will not be last.  No matter what steps are taken in either direction, there will always be some extremists that believe hate is the only answer to our vast differences.  We know different, however we can say that it is not through hate that we can truly affect change but through love and acceptance.

As an organization with members across the entire Earth,  we share in the grief of those loved ones that are heartbroken and sit in despair.  We can only hope that together we show that where evil means to divide us, it has failed miserably for we only come closer and more united in face of great adversity.  For all of us across the world that call TLP home, we can only offer up some of our time, our condolences, and our willingness to help.

We stand with Equality Florida in their efforts to raise funds to help and assist the families of those we lost.   Please visit their site and give what you can;  time, blood, money, supplies.  Everything is needed and much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Maria “Danitsia” Espino
