Since the onset of Mythic+ dungeons, we have always put together Mythic+ static dungeon teams made up exclusively of TLP tagged members. Our organized system has seen the creation of over 36 static Mythic+ teams that have topped out all keys since their inception. Let’s break down the system we’ve created around this.
TEAM CAPTAINS:
Anyone that was interested in being the team captain of a M+ team would get help from the leaders to create the team of exclusively guild members. The team captain is responsible for setting the schedule for their members, picking a team name for themselves, trying out guild members that sign up, selecting members who commit to the team, providing constructive feedback on non-selected try-outs, establishing run routes, and most importantly ensures the team meshes well together and are continually progressing to everyone’s content.
KEY RESERVATION:
What has made our teams so successful is the one golden rule: Your M+ keys are reserved for your TLP team. That means that every member of the team holds their keys for their guild team ONLY, putting guild progression above all else. This doesn’t mean that outside of your committed schedule you cannot do more Mythic+ dungeons, it just means you use other players’ keys and hold on to yours. For our guild, if you have not yet completed any of your own keys within your M+ team, at 12 AM on Mondays your reservations LIFT and you can freely pursue PUGS to finish out your key.
KEY BREAKS:
This happens. It just does, so please do not berate team members for this; they feel bad enough. Your keys will be downgraded (sometimes called “depleted”) if you complete a M+ dungeon BUT do not meet the timer. Again, since those keys are reserved for your team, your team can either do the dungeon again or your can decided to use that downgraded key with any other group (lifting the reservation).
