A Birthday Adventure…..

that

I awoke with my entire body aching and the feeling of two strong arms wrapped around me. I smiled as I remembered the night. Never could I ever have imagined pure pleasure and power of being dominated by an enigma that is Lars Spy. I was not in love with him, far from it actually, but I felt a strong connection to him. I call him my dearest friend, and what a friend he is. After the first night that he made love to me I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted to be his, I wanted to become Immortal and live for eternity doing all the good I could possible do. Prevent monsters from taking the lives of innocent people…hurting them..No, I would live forever insuring I can stop the evil in this world and the next.

I felt Lars’ lips press against my neck softly, a smile crept onto my lips as I turned in his arms to face him. By the gods he was beautiful, I had no regrets giving him my innocence.

Breaking Through…

dilaudidtest

Mountains upon mountains of papers litter Marius’ desk. I have spent hours pouring over all of them, finally I believe I’ve made a break through, at least with countering the side effects of the Conduit Substance. I cant help but giggle with glee knowing it’s nothing more then simple potioneering. Or maybe, not so simple. I need a test subject brave enough to let me test my theories. I wonder if Va’lis would do it…no..if i killed him accidentally even Pandora would kill me. She and I are best friends and close, but that’s “Her baby boy”…kind of makes me sick.

I grabbed my notebook and immediately started writing my findings…..

blackrock-caveI walked into the lab completely drenched in soot, dirt, and ash. Va’lis was there reading through his father’s notes and journals. He looked up at me, “Did I miss a mud wrestling contest?” I gave him the flatest of flat looks as I placed a strongbox that also was just as wrecked with soot, dirt, and ash as I was on the counter.

“Is that?” He said as his eyes lit up. He was still enamored and fascinated by this stuff and he just couldn’t help himself, went straight for it with bare hands. I of course had to stop him. “Va’lis! No!” I exclaimed as I took his wrist and held it just an inch from the box. “Protection, son!” I reminded him. And this is why we needed Piper. I cannot trust that his eagerness will not get the best of him. She was much more careful in handling the stuff and would be mindful to ensure Va’lis was careful as well.

Finding a Purer Source

Va’lis was working in the lab already when I got there late last night.  I wanted to drop off another set of notes and books that Piper and I had found in Marius’ office at Romanus Manor. Of course his level of frustration was visible. Him and Piper just have not been able to cross paths. Piper, as she is still quite young, must keep herself to the dampness of the dark nights, while Va’lis being much more tolerant of the Malas sun tends to squeeze in some time throughout the day.  Of course, he does have a city to run.

Moving On Up

So as we packed up our old place, the girls and I lovingly wrapped all our nick knacks and furnishings.  Room by room my daughters and I got most of our items all boxed up.  Finally Merida came home and joined in helping us, her rooftop garden being one of the more difficult things to pack. We had to ensure her “babies” wouldn’t get squashed or tumble out of the soil they were packed into.  It was a lot of work, but we finally got the majority of it done.  Except of course, I wouldn’t let my girls into our master bedroom to pack anything.  I mean heaven forbid they find mommy and daddy’s … “toy chest”.  No, Merida and I would come back for our bedroom later.

The Air I Breathe

ro-zach-colton-holland-3Nothing in this world, or any world, makes me feel as complete as she does.  Ro’s been having trouble sleeping for over a week now. I’ve noticed her toss and turn, and even at times leave my bedroom to go outside. The stress was getting to her and she was going to have a meltdown.  With Armand and Merida gone to Earth, she felt so alone.  Even I wasn’t enough to comfort her.

The Tribunal of Marius de Romanus, Pt. 27

armand-in-a-suitI sat there in my seat with my elbows on my knees after hearing the verdict and sentence. The guards came to read my sire, my father his reprimands and statues before cuffing him. I heard Pandora, my sire-mother, yelling and screaming and Marius yelling back to her. Lestat stood there and when they turned Marius around he wrapped him a hug. I couldn’t even look at him. If I had I would have broken down.

The Tribunal of Marius de Romanus, Pt. 26

pandora-listening-to-verdictThe High Council came in and sat at their respective chairs.  Chancellor Gray shook her head once at our David and I knew.  I just knew.  I stood up and placed my hands flat onto the bulletproof glass that separated me from the forum; from him.  He looked up to me and smiled his usual smile, one that always made me feel like we could face anything.  My eyes started to rim with tears that I fought so hard to blink away.  They asked all parties to stand, and Chancellor Grimm read the verdict and sentence.

What the heart wants…

My time at the orphanage has been short, but feels like an eternity. I’ve made new friends, Rowan, Britney, Frisco and Zachary. The director, Miss Merida has been an angel to me. I tend to shy away from men, I still don’t trust them much. Funny…given my best friend is Ariok Razele. We almost dated, but it felt awkward, and I can always trust him to give me a helping hand when I need it. Or if I’m too stubborn to ask.

I managed to hide away enough coin to get me a small fishing boat, late at night when everyone was asleep I would go to a dock and sail off into the open waters. I loved fishing, it was a big part of me that I can never forget. The water calmed me and my raging thoughts. One night I slipped away to Britain’s docks and began to climb aboard, three grown men approached me, “ello poppet…’ow bout ye and me mates ‘Ave ah bit o’ fun…?” I was petrified. I froze in place and could do nothing. I didn’t know how to fight, I had no magic to help me. I panicked! it was then I heard a soft soothing voice. “If I were you, I’d leave the girl alone….or else things might get messy….” it was a boy, my age at least. His hair was dark but his eyes, oh his eyes were brilliant blue. He stood as tall as a man, 6’3″ at least. His body was built, I could tell that through his school shirt. He was a Britain student. He came close to me and faced the men, suddenly their eyes were filled with terror and they booked it. He then turned to me with a smile, I felt my knees shake.
